Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, one of the five autonomous regions in
China, and the smallest of all provinces in China, is situated in the west of
the Great Bend of the Yellow River. Hui people make up about thirty
percent of the four million population, the remainder comprising mainly
Han. Its capital city is Yinchuan, the political, economic, and cultural
center of the region, and also a famous historical and cultural city. Thanks
to the ancient Huanghe River irrigational system, the northern part of
Ningxia is well irrigated and known as the land of fish and rice in the
North.
Laboratory:
Ningxia Medical College offers the finest laboratories which helps the
student to concentrate more on his chosen topics. The laboratories exhibit
the finest instruments and a dedicated staff to assist students throughout.
Campus:
Ningxia Medical College, founded in 1958, is the unique higher learning
medical institution of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. It was merged into
Ningxia University in 1963. In the year of 1972, Ningxia Medical College
was reestablished by the combination of Shanghai railway Medical
College, Ningxia Medical College begin to manage its own independent
development.
In October 2002, the new Ningxa Medical College was established by the
combination with Ningxia health school and Ningxia Nursing School.
The college covers an area of 455 hectares with a construction area of
147,260 sq.m.
