Introduction:
Gannan Medical University is situated in the city of Ganzhou, in the south of Jiangxi Province. It is a higher institute of medical sciences, under the supervision of Jiangxi Provincial Government. Han Jisheng, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, is the honorary president of the university. The university can trace its history back to April, 1941. With the development for decades, the university has made great contributions to health work and medical education. It has trained more than 20,000 health workers of different levels for the society. Its graduates are now working in many places both at home and abroad. The university has been conferred the title of “Qualified University” by the Education Department of PRC.
Gannan Medical University is recognized by WHO, UNESCO, CSC, CMC. It teaches the whole courses in English medium with south asian curriculum as well as USMLE/PLAB based exam and teaching styles. Students can do internship all over the world. The University offers bachelor and master programs.
